Are You in a Right-Now Season?
The time God gives you is a gift. And all you have is the moment that you are presently in because tomorrow is not promised to you.
Welcome to the 98th issue of The Aim and Soar Life, a weekly newsletter about faith, personal growth, and lifestyle that provides actionable, relatable, and biblically rooted content to help you live abundantly and GROW YOU. GOD’S WAY.
Greetings Fam! Happy Sunday!
First, I want to thank you personally for supporting my writing over the last two years! I will be coming up on 100 issues very soon. Yaay! I truly hope you have been blessed by something I’ve written.
I want to let you know that after the 100th issue, I will be taking a much-needed break from writing this newsletter so that I can focus on my health and complete two other major projects I’ve been working on.
I like to put my all into everything I do so that it is done to the glory of God. A short (6 months or less) break will allow me to reset and come back even stronger!
That brings me to the theme for the month: The time is Now!
It’s all about living in the moment and honoring the time God gives us daily.
If you have been waiting for a blessing or an answer to your prayers, I want to encourage you to take advantage of your right-now season.
The time God gives you is a gift. And all you have is the moment you are presently in because tomorrow is not promised to you.
We can get bogged down and disappointed by wanting to escape the season we’re in because it’s uncomfortable or just not what we’ve been praying for.
We want to skip the line and get to the “good part”.
But God has you right where He wants you to be! There are opportunities in your present season to bloom where you are planted.
There are opportunities in this season to strengthen your relationship with God and grow closer to Him.
Now is the time to pump up your praise and deepen your knowledge of the Word!
Focus your mind on viewing each day as an opportunity for a new adventure with God. Seek to be so close to Him that you feel His presence as you go about your day.
Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face evermore!1Chronicles 16:11, NKJV
Fall in love with God all over again! Do you remember how it was when you were a new Christian? Remember those times you looked forward to reading your Bible and having some quiet time with the Lord? Let’s get back to it!
I remember how much I enjoyed having dinner with God after I completed a fast! It was just me and God and I felt so close to Him. I looked forward to being alone with God and having Him talk to me through His Word as I prayed.
We can allow the routine of our lives to get in the way of growing the relationship we have with our Father.
God is your First Love!
Take advantage of your right-now season by nurturing your relationship with Him.
This week I challenge you to enjoy a breakfast, lunch, or dinner date with God. Enjoy the gift of time with Him.
Peace and Love
Until Next Time,
GROW YOU. GOD’S WAY.
