As a licensed therapist, Bible teacher, educator, and growth coach, I just LOVE personal growth! But I’ve found that a lot of personal growth material contain a mix of ideologies that don't align with my values as a follower of Christ.

I thought to myself how wonderful it would be to have a “blogletter” (You know, a blog and newsletter put together😍) that focused solely on personal growth and lifestyle from a Christian worldview.

And tada! The Aim and Soar Life was born!

WHAT’S WITH THE NAME???

I hear what you thinking. The name. The name. The name. Where did you get that name? I know. I know. You're waiting...‌

And I'm glad you asked.

The name comes from one of my favorite scriptures,

 Isaiah 40:30-31

🦅

Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

How Does One Live The Aim and Soar Life?

The Aim and Soar Life is a life that is lived waiting (depending) on God. It is a life that is strengthened by God's grace. Personal growth begins with God. In fact, there is no personal growth without God.

Just like the eagle in Isaiah 40:30-31, when you depend on God for everything–finances, relationships, new jobs, businesses, He will constantly renew your strength so you can make it in this crazy world.

The Aim and Soar Life is a life of success—the way God sees it, not the way man sees it. 

It's a life that is purpose-driven—His purpose for your life. God wants you to live abundantly (John 10:10). When you walk in your purpose you are equipped to bless others. That's what The Aim and Soar Life is all about.

What We Believe

There is only ONE TRUE God and He presents Himself in three distinct persons: God the FATHER, God the Son (JESUS), and God the HOLY SPIRIT

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 1 JOHN 5:7

Jesus Christ is the son of God who was sent to die for our sins and reconcile us back to God because sin separates us from God.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. JOHN 3:16

Jesus is the ONLY provision for our sins. He is our ONLY SALVATION. There is no other way to God except through Christ.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” JOHN 14:6

Jesus is fully God and fully human. He is the WORD of God. He dwelt among us to model the way for us.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. JOHN 1:14

The Bible is the inerrant WORD of God that was written by God through men who were Divinely inspired by God and is the ONLY authority for living for ALL mankind.

for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. 2 PETER 1:21

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 TIMOTHY 3:16

The initial state of man was perfect innocence and sinlessness. However, the initial state of man was lost as an effect of Adam and Eve’s disobedience to God. This is known as sin and it requires a penalty. The consequence of sin is death. SALVATION and ETERNAL LIFE come through confessing Christ and believing that God raised Him from the dead.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. ROMANS 3:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the [a]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ROMANS 6:23

9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. ROMANS 10:9-10

Jesus will return to receive His church (all those who believe in Him) and He will establish His eternal Kingdom. We will live with God forever in a perfect state.

so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. HEBREWS 9:28

Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 1 THESSALONIANS 4:17
